Ok I HAve It installed works fine. Here is my question. Do you update it? I mean it wants to connect and download updates like normal pc. Is this safe to do with 7 installed.Being that its a virtual thing?

In my opinion is useless to update it. First of all, you need the XP mode to run old programs that doesn't even run on Vista (generally) so It doesn't make sense to have the XP up to date if you don't really need it.

Just don't let the XP mode use the internet and you'll be fine. You don't even need an antivirus or firewall.

XP mode is like an application, doesn't need any activation... it's pre-activated by MS because it's based on a Windows 7 system (that has a licence).

I installed it (Using BIOS Mod for 7)
After installing it, I had no problem installing ALL XP Updates.

    Yeah, right.
If you do it right and isolate the virtual machine. At least the RC share all drives by default.
I think VMWare is a SO MUCH better product, but of course it´s not free.
If you are in need of a quick fix, this will do the trick.
