    Hi,
I am trying to install XP-mode on Windows 7 Ultimate.
    I use this link:
    "microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx"
When I try to download it, it says "windows validation required". Then it makes me download "windowsactivationupdate.exe". I did this and installed it, but then nothing happens. When I press "continue" the same popup comes telling me to download "windowsactivationupdate.exe", which I just did.

NOTE: At the bottom on "computer" properties it says "windows is Activated".

    Can anyone unconfusify me please?

    Are you using IE8?

I've tried same URL in my Windows 7 Ultimate and after validation, file downloaded successfully. I did this experiment on IE 8.

Another point to be noted, Microsoft did Genuine Activation twice on my Windows and after this, file downloaded.

Thanks guys, I fixed the problem.
I was using a pre-activated windows installation. I reactivated it using the windowsloader made by Daz, as mentioned in this topic: "forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/19404-Not-genuine-after-KB971033-update-Read-this!"
    Now it works :)
