If i have XP Pro Retail installed,and i do a xp repair using a xp pro vlk disc, will the licensing change to VLK keys then?
im no expert on this, but i would say if the OS asks for the key,it should match the dics your using..... not sure if itspossible to use Pro to repair Home edition. if it does work, chances are you will be upgraded to Pro.
I think the VLK repair may not be the best thing to do. you will have VLK activation, but also the impending issues with licensing..You can always change the OEMBIOS stuff with one of the changers back to OEM:SLP if you know the manufacturer.
