I've some trouble with my satta drives, I've solved the problems usin my XP os.....

Due to evolving hardware iSwitched to win 7 win 2008 R2
with virtualisation ready to be activted.

I've found programs as HDDScan Version 3.1 .... to access the SATA
disks directly (I only have sata Disks)

WIll virtualisation allow me to access the disk drive directly ????
do I need to do some special things to activate this kind of virtualisation .

i would suspect virtualisation to use the win7 drivers ... leaving me completyely in the cold

    any way out ....?????

Sorry, did not really understand a single bit of what you tried to say.

What do you have, what do you want to do?

Yes and no, with ie. Vmware you can access disks directly (advanced mode), but I do not know how well HDDScan could work with it.
Also SATA presentation to the OS depends on your BIOS settings (IDE, Native, Raid, AHCI)

I still do not understand what you try to do. Check HDs? Why not just use Hirem's bootable CD?
