w7 is superior with mullticore cpus.. xp doesnt work with western digital advanced format drives without special procedures and limitations.
RU talking about SSD's or am I missing something? XP does benefit from the Black Edition drives. I was thinking I've seen stuff on making trim work OK with XP, but I'm to poor for an SSD
i am trying 7 myself at the moment, but i think i will revert to xp where i feel more in control, big thnx to slui.exe i can still update and everything. i do not like the fact of intrusion without permission
Windows 7 is a great OS but i really don't see a point to release Windows 8 next year already. Microsoft only cares about money and they also steel stuff from mac and linux (compare a few things with linux, you would be surprised)
