AFAIK, all yify torrents will come with English subtitle. If you need some other languages' subtitles, search in Google and download; once downloaded, copy it to the same folder where you keep your movie. Then load that subtitle track in player. For this, no separate software is required. That's all.
Convert xtodvd is an excellent program for making dvd from torrent video files. I have done quite a lot of comparison, and it seems to me to be the only program that can take subs from a separate file. Example, if you have downloaded a video file that 1. has a separate subtitle file. 2. has no subtitle file and you download the sub file from subscene etc You can combine the two in convert x to dvd and make a dvd. It can take all subtitle formats eg .srt, .idx. For sub sync, I find subtitle workshop to be excellent and versatile. Jayblok: Any other program that you have tried besides convertx to dvd that has this combining video and subs into an dvd output. These days, the trend for files is to have subtitles encoded in the video and so there is no need to download separate video and srt files. Yet there are older movies/shows, etc that do not have this.
if you dont want to add subtitles into the actual movie, you can simply keep the subtitle file with the movie in the same folder and even with media player, right click a movie you are watching and enable subtitles if available.
