How do you mean? Can you, please, elaborate on it for us a bit?

You don't have to do anything, they removed the restriction yesterday. If the app account requirement is removed it will install without opening that popup window. But of course paid apps don't work. I installed several apps and games like Forza Motorsport 6: Apex (Beta).

Just did a test on one of my HWID activated systems and free apps can be installed without using the MSA. I'll test it on a kms activated system asap.

The title itself is the explanation. Now, if you don't know what the store is or how to click on "Install" I'm sure there are some YouTube tutorials.

Tested it on a KMS activated uptodate system and the store asks for a login when installing free apps.

I'm using Windows 10 Enterprise (KMS, AU, local account, I don't even have a Microsoft account) and it's not asking me for an account. Just tested again a few minutes ago.

I don't know if they really removed the restriction or if it's a temporary bug. They changed some things recently (that patch to stop apps from getting reinstalled).

    Does this include Edge extensions?

I tested it with the free skyscanner app on a HWID activated Pro system and it worked without asking for logins.

Later i tested it on 10 Home KMS_VL_ALL activated and the store asks for login when i want to install the same app.

I have to testinstall 40+ editions (Home (N), Pro (N), Education (N), Enterprise (N) and both LTSB's but they have no store), i will test it on them.

    Tests:
    Code:
Home HWID activated, free skyscanner app asks for MSA to install.

Enterprise KMS_VL_ALL activated, after first updating the store it doesn't ask for the MSA when installing free apps :)

Not working for me, it still asks me to sign in to MSA, maybe it's region specific or only works with apps that have in app purchases, just spit bowling here.

Yay, i hope, this is not a temporary bug and MS didn't change its mind!!
This requirement for installing Edge addons was ridiculous.

It only works with a few selected games, like Forza Motorsport 6, Asphalt 8: Airborne and it will let you download without signing in, but if you try any other games, like Sniper Fury, Modern Combat 5, etc, which are Gameloft games and it will ask you for your account info.

I guess it's trial and error to see which games and apps you can download without signing in.

Edit1: Tried Adblock Plus wich is an Edge extension and it does not ask for a MSA to download.

It does work with Edge extensions. Downloaded and installed in seconds without asking anything, not even if I wanted to proceed with installation after download.

Did you first update the store itself?

Finally figured out how to update the store. I didn't notice the odd looking thingy
next to the search box. That did the trick. Thank you.
