I made this thread as sooooooo many people have used toolkit 1.8 by orbit or other tokens hacks and are saying that my program makes their windows expire in 2010. It is the tokens hack that does this, you either need to uninstall them or reformat before you use a proper activation! Hazar
Well thanks for uploading the files yes toolkit 1.8 reeplaces with RC tokens to activate via MS servers.
Opa just a suggestion, why not add a "repair licensing files" option to opatool? i could cook ou up some code to circumvent the x64/32 redirects and such.
hmmm, I'll think about it I really want to keep it super-simple/light for bios-mod users (I don't know if you saw but I removed the "deactivate" option and leaved only "Install a key" and "Install a certificate"). Why wouldn't you add this functionality to 1.6? it could be great and make it even better !!
AWW yeah good idea Never thought of it lol. How should I do this? like have a spereate remove RC button, or integrate it into 7Loader and SLIC 2.1 buttons?
maybe an automatic check, like compare the md5 of the tokens installed on the system with the original ones, if it matches you do nothing, if it doesn't then display a prompt message "Broken system files detected, do you want to repair them?"
Well Opa they vary in size and md5 depending on the cert installed I think I will just replace em anyway in all circumstances, what harm can it do?
The tokens for the original RTM x64 can be used for 32bit right? I mean, I used it and it worked fine.
aw I didn't know that... replacing them in all circumstance is... hhmmm.. well it will be criticized, mostly by people who don't understand the goal of this replacement... @Code9: I guess yes
