your data may be used by third party

    Hello friends

    i recently install windows 7 on my system. while i open my e-mail account or while doing some online shopping am getting a message that your data may be used by third party

    can anyone help me why htis message is coming and how could i get rid off this message...

    have you changed any settings in your browser from the default? I remember seeing these messages with the old IE 6 from certain websites but I do not recall them on IE8. Try using the "Restore Factory Settings" and see what happens. That should fix any option modification that you may have done or something that a virus caused as well.

    where are these restore factory settings??

    go to "Tools" then "Internet Options," when the menu comes up go to "Advanced" and click the bottom button that says "Reset" and then let it do it's thing and then restart IE and see what happens. BTW What sites have you noticed that did that other then your email if any?

    That is not a malware "security tools" pop up is it? If it is get away from it fast.
