I have an old HP Z210 Workstation that needs a better graphics card. Right now I'm using the built in Intel card which sucks. Can someone recommend a good graphics card to put into this system? I'm running Windows 8.1 and Windows 11. Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz 16GB Dual-Channel DDR3 RAM Hewlett-Packard 1587h (XU1 PROCESSOR) Intel HD Graphics 3000 (HP) Graphics Vizio D55n-E2 Television (1920x1080@59Hz) hp DVD RW AD-7251H5 DVD Burner
The easiest thing to fit in there would be GT 1030(GDDR5 model!) / GTX 1050 / GTX 1050 Ti / GTX 1650. No additional power required(PCI-E cables from PSU) and much better than the HD3000 gpu.
@arlawson83 In case you're after a new card, the Intel Arc A380 is probably the best modern GPU that's rated for 75W (i.e. PCIe slot powered). However, driver support and legacy compatibility might be an issue for it. Keep in mind that there exist more-than-75W TDP variants of the GTX 1650. In comparison, a sub-75W Nvidia workstation card, like the RTX A2000 (or the venerable RTX A4000 ADA), would be a way better option. For AMD, there is the RX 6400 lineup.
