Zone Information/Attachment manager group policy setting doesn't work

    On my system, to disable saving zone information on downloaded files you have to edit the registry setting directly. The Group Policy setting doesn't work. Is this the case on anyone else's system?

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Attachments

    Set SaveZoneInformation to 1 to disable saving zone information on downloaded files.


    The Group Policy setting is in: User Configuration/Adminstrative Templates/Windows Components/Attachment Manager
