all the isos I ve dl give me startup error at install and can't continue..I even tried iso from other sites with same issue..
Maybe when you create bootable media (with Rufus), you put wrong file system. It must be FAT32 if you have UEFI and will be NTFS if you have BIOS Legasy.
It doesn't need to be FAT32. The only requirement for EFI/UEFI bootable is a GPT partition table, not an MBR partition table. FAT32 is only bootable on EFI/UEFI, while bootable media with GPT and NTFS can be booted on BIOS and EFI/UEFI. Install.wim has grown past the 4GiB file size limit of FAT32; most modern Windows ISO's can't be unpacked onto the FAT32 filesystem as the install.wim is a single file that has grown past the 4GiB limit.
I understand that anyone who wants FAT32 should install Windows 98. Neither Windows 2000 nor Windows XP were installed in FAT32. Sorry for my poor English.
Did you update your drivers after installing 11 LTSC/IoT? I installed IoT on a non-supported Ryzen laptop and at first it wouldn't stay in sleep mode. Then there were about a dozen driver updates and now it sleeps soundly. There were some driver updates showing in WU, but I used a driver update program to do a more thorough job.
Yep I used the latest drivers from march 2024 I thought it fixed the issue but then started heating back up to 70-84c while on windows 10 it hangs around 41-53c. Edit: if wondering even check the task manager & nothing was causing really causing the CPU or GPU to act up. So highly baffled on why it heats up like crazy while windows 10 everything is fine. Edit 2: Think I know how to fix the heating issues going to give iot ltsc 24h2 another try.
Using LTSC 2024 now for a couple of days first 2 times I upgraded I had a BSOD but with take three I updated some stuff on my system and now it runs fine
I'm waiting for the author of explorer patcher to release a version that works properly on the 26100, so I can install the system, Will they launch it since everyone is reporting that customizations are being banned?
I see the 26100.2 patch that just came out works on Win 11 LTSC. I guess this helps to confirm the legitimacy of this version.
