OK, so I've had Windows 8 installed on my 500GB Western Digital USB 3.0 Hard Drive for a month and a half, ran it on multiple different machines, (Two of my laptops; a HP Pavilion dv5000 and a Gateway NV52; my university's HP Compaq 6000 Pro AIO machines (3 of them so far); and my friend's Acer Aspire one) and its worked great until this afternoon. I see it start up to the Win8 Boot screen and then i get the new blue screen with the error code "0xC000021A". I have also tried to get the Options menu to display on on the win8 boot loader and even then i still get the error message. I've only seen this on the AIO machines, I have yet to attempt to try it on my laptops. I guess I can't really provide any more info, except that it was fully updated, had office 2010 installed on it, and it also had connectify installed.
So I guess when I first started to ask, about the error, I guess I was wondering if there's any way I can I repair it even though I can't boot to windows or even the new options menu.
I can mash F8 when it starts to boot and it still gets that error within the NextBoot screen. The only things I can do have to be on a outside-in method...
Hi, the error was always caused by failed Winlogon.exe or Csrss.exe, to fix the error, visit Regmender.com for more solutions. Good Luck! Aron
