Hi guys, I have just checked my XPS 420 and the SLIC version seems to be 2.0. Now, two little question: 1- Is it worth it that I make a request for a mod BIOS or are Dell BIOS "unmodeable". Just want to know if it's possible to put it to SLIC 2.1 before I make a request. 2- Just out of curiosity... If I have SLIC 2.0 and I was to buy windows 7 tomorrow (I know it is not out in store, but theoretically), does that mean that I wouldn't ben able to even activate a legit key?!?!
