I don't have that problem. Did you have the last version of ExeBuilder? Did you check it out in the snapshot file ( just open it with a text editor ) if the output file path exist/is correct?
Yes, the output filename resides in the same folder as the .xappl as well as EXEbuilder itself. The EXEBulider I'm using has this digital signature: md5: c1cdfe5fb5fcc81f4e0e33f36c45869c Don't know if it's the latest... Is it?
My md5 is: 1c4f456737bab18b2877eeabf1f5209b - The file version is 3.4.0.0. So no, i don't think you have the lastest version and sorry i can't upload files from here.
Anybody having an idea how to preserve activation of Dreamweaver CS3 when virtualized with Sppon? sebus
Backup all the files/folders including from AppData and registry, then apply inside the virtualized app... I was done doing it for the Photoshop CS6.
Notes: 1. Install Windows into a virtual PC (eg. VMWARE Player). 2. Install Spoon Server into #1, and activate as needed. 3. Run Spoon and click the first icon on the left in the toolbar to run a Prescan. 4. Install program(s). 5. If the programs require extra tools, programs or utilities (eg. KMS) to be added by hand to activate them, do so now. You can copy them to the c:\ or c:\program files or any other directory. 6. In order to use Exebuilder on the extra programs you manually added in #5, you MUST create shortcuts to these tools in #5 by hand and place them in the START button menu. You can do this in Win7 by clicking the start button, right-clicking All Programs and selecting OPEN ALL USERS. A new Windows Explorer window will appear - put your shortcuts here. This step is not necessary if you don't add any extra tools by hand - Spoon will detect which applications to add based on the Shortcuts added automatically during installation to the Start Menu. 7. Click the 2nd icon from the left in the toolbar to run a Postscan. 8. Click the Spoon menu (round icon in upper left) and save the configuration to a folder on your desktop. 9. Click the multiple button in the top center and verify that Spoon has detected all of the programs and extra tools you've installed. 10. Click the output file button right below the Multiple button and save the output to a *.dat file in the folder on your desktop. (eg. office.dat) 11. Save the configuration file again. 12. Click the BUILD button. 13. Open the folder on the desktop. Copy Exebuilder to this folder and run it. It should start creating the *.exe files for each of the files listed in the MULTIPLE button window. It may note that some files do not have icons associated - you should select the blank filename box (far right of each line) and find the file listed in the far left box of the line. It can be any icon. 14. Once you've created the *.exe files, you can copy that and the *.dat file to your USB drive - portable version/virtualization done. --- Note. Spoon Server 10.4.2491.0 doesn't virtualize After Effects CS6 properly. AE says "Mediacore not initialized properly" even though the program starts and you can see the interface and menus. VMWare ThinApp 4.7.3 does virtualize the 32-bit CS6 applications fine, but not AE (says AfterFX.exe is bad). Probably a limited understanding of these tools given that others have virtualized AE CS6... Still trying to figure out what's missing...
Hi @bloggingpig you are talking about spoon studio or spoon server? Because you wrote 10.4.2491.0? And someone know how exactly works spoon server? Thanks,

Hello a_catalin, I'm a part-time developer that is very interested in your work. I don't know if you'll get this (considering the post age), but I would very much like if you could either re-post your source or send me a new link.
a_catalian has informed me they no longer have the source code for ExeBuilder. Could any one here provide me with it? I have a lot I'd like to do with the utility, but I was late to the party.
