Hello forum users! Today i accidentally remove recovery partition on my ASUS X55. But i tried to restore them, i use Easeus to restore Recovery partition, but Easeus also restore 2 partitions which i didn't have before. Partitions called: XJ3BW82F02 (35Gb) and XJ3BW82F01 (1Gb) By structure, partition XJ3BW82F02 have Win 7 or Win 8, partition XJ3BW82F01 have many tools. Any ideas?
Im just guessing here, but it sounds like XJ3BW82F02 is the recovery OS, and XJ3BW82F01 is the OEM specific recovery tools, to reinstall the image. They are usually hidden. If you were to delete them and restore them, im guessing Windows assigned them a drive letter. I think, and im just guessing here, that you can go into windows disk management and just remove the drive letters from the partitions, allowing them to be hidden again.
Yeah, it's my thread about how to make my Recovery partition bootable. Here some screenshots from XJ3BD82F01 v-img.ru_image_Mox v-img.ru_image_Moz v-img.ru_image_Mo7 v-img.ru_image_Mok v-img.ru_image_Mom v-img.ru_image_Mou v-img.ru_image_MoU v-img.ru_image_Mo1 Replace _ with /
Well, you can usually figure out what's the stuff about on Android via cat /proc/mtd. This - really no clue unless the OP can grab some "internal" docs.
vymrdal, thanks! I check it. Now i have 4 partitions: Recovery (contains boot files as i can see), Restore (install.wim and installation scripts), XJ3BD82F01 with lot of utils (also have DOS/Win 3.1 bootsector) and XJ3BW82F02 (Ubuntu says, there are Windows 8 Loader) with operating system. Now i want to boot XJ3BW82F02 But i don't know how make partition bootable on GPT disk (now i have installed grub2). Any ideas how to boot from this partition?
