Hi. Having a bit of a headscracher here.
This is by far not the first computer build i've done, tho the first on this platform.
    First, the setup:
    ASUS P9X79
    Intel® Core i7-3930K
    Corsair Vengeance DDR3 (CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9)
    Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5
    Corsair SSD Force Series 3
    Seagate Barracuda® Green 2TB
    Corsair TX850M

At first everything was fine, then the following day there was a warning of fans failing, tho they clearly was not.
A few hours later returning from screensaver the computer did not respond. The screen frozen with screensaver active.
A quick restart and it worked fine. Stresstested it - passed with flying collors. Memtested it - Pass.
Problem returned later on same night.
Reinstalled - Didn't help. Stripped the system from everyting non essential using one by one DDR module - problem persists.

This worsend and have now started to eat DDRmodules.
I'm thinking flawed MB. Any thoughts?

    /Rab.
