I tried to check for new updates, and then this (kb3140743) shows up again after already being installed, this happens also when I install the update for microsoft visual 2012 something, but that only installs twice. How many more times will this happen? Anyone have this before, I know one of the last updates caused everything to revert to defaults, and I don't want to keep resetting apps because the updates keeps installing.
Did you already try to stop the windows update service in services.msc and delete the "c:\windows\softwaredistribution" folder? After deleting the folder start the service and the folder will be recreated, check WU againg.
