thank you for this great wealth of information & sources im all out of +1 today.. but i'll come back to hit u up
Useless autounattend.xml file is missing same as one on first page peeps can use autounattend.xml from Lenovo Home Basic download just change the key to home premium. If peeps are posting $OEM$ folders at least please try an realize how they work and what is needed.
well, well, well... howdy Urie-san. as far as I remember we were having discussion of the AlienWare & need/don't need Autounattend file, i.e. Dell OEM folder etc., in another thread here... so, frankly speaking, I didn't yet tried to make a fresh install of MSN original + that Alienware $OEM$.... so far all other older Dell Win7 x64 & x86 images made yet working well... as well as HP Ultimate image DVD made using MSN + HP Home Premium $OEM$ follder as published here with some appropriate change of z serial to Ultimate one. if any question plz PM or email 2 me. thanks. P.S. of course. my special thanks & respect to vladxed666-sensei.
Sony OEM folder hi there; I am asking for Sony $OEM$ folder, does anyone has it ? if not can i just change the hp oem folder so it contains sony informations and oem-cert! Thank you in advance for your reply
@ laidbacktokyo, Go and give all the respect you like to your vladxed666-sensei but the dell folder $OEM$ folders that he posted were fake the is no Autounatten.xml in dell dvd's i am not talking Alienware. the whole point of the thread is to get Original $OEM$ folders.
You don't extract these from computer you are supposed to copy the $OEM$ folder e.c.t from original OEM SLP DVD. But you can grab Logos wallpapers e.c.t from OEM computer to make up Custom one.
To: Urie I'm surprised to hear a pretty boorish comment of yours even if u r a super moderator here. As for the Dell $OEM$ in general, so z common problem is that of course all of us r looking for the z genuine Dell OEM but all Dell OEM folders and/or DVD images appered in Internet until now contain z absolutely same minor errors, which don't affect z installation at all but made these folders/images look like home-made ones, because I hardly believe that z software engineers of Dell can start mass production of Dell OEM DVDs with such stupid errors, otherwise they r drinking to much beer at work. And that Alienware $OEM$ posted looked a bit more realistic, except z functions of Autounattend file, which looked doubtful for both of us during z discussion in another thread here. That's all. P.S. A couple of days ago there was another Win7 Ultimate x64 Dell OEM image appeared at Demonoid and z uploader was oath-taking that this image is genuine & just unboxed etc but z same errors are there again.
@ laidbacktokyo, apologies from me but i though you were being rude with the Urie-san and vladxed666-sensei i have being doing unattended installs since xp and working with autounattend files since vista beta i am involved with development of programs called UnattendXP Vista_UA it is discontinued and now Se7en_UA, by maxXPsoft.
