To: Urie it's OK. no problem. sorry for san and sensei although z both ones simply mean a respect in Japanese. but Dell Genuine OEM problem as described by me in previous post remains same unfortunately.... and frankly speaking now I feel sick of downloading all of those roughly ~3-6GB size said genuine Dell OEM images, just to check $OEM$ folder and get knowledge that everything remains same... and as far as I understand there are only two possible explanations: z uploaders lie intentionally or unintentionally OR z Dell guys r drunk...
@ laidbacktokyo, No worries one member did post original dell Windows 7 PROFESSIONAL x86 $OEM$ folder he even posted his file hashes file is called Dell-W7Pro-_oem_.rar sorry can't remeber members name may have been sebus there is no autounattend.xml he definitely checked that. Code: $oem$\$$\csup.txt $oem$\$$\DELL_version $oem$\$$\setup\scripts\oem.reg $oem$\$$\setup\scripts\OOBE.CMD $oem$\$$\setup\scripts\slp.cmd $oem$\$$\system32\oem\MceLogo.png $oem$\$$\system32\oem\OEM.xrm-ms $oem$\$$\system32\oem\OemUser.bmp $oem$\$$\system32\oem\OobeLogo.png $oem$\$$\system32\oem\PerfLogo.bmp $oem$\$$\system32\oem\SystemLogo.bmp $oem$\$$\system32\oem\ThemeLogo.png $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-Blue-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-Brown-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-Chrome-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-Green-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-LtBlue-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-Orange-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-Pink-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-Purple-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-Red-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds\Win7-Yellow-1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 Blue 1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 Brown 1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 Chrome 1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 Green 1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 LtBlue 1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 Orange 1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 Pink 1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 Purple 1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 Red 1920x1200.jpg $oem$\$$\web\wallpaper\Dell\Win7 Yellow 1920x1200.jpg seems the same structure and files as the first one that were leaked.
YES. YOU R ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! z fist Dell OEM image leaked to Internet and found by me in last year August-September and said genuine one was of Win7 Multilanguage Professional x86 and looked originated from somewhere in Latin America because of LPs integrated. And taking into consideration that $OEM$ folder itself must likely be same for x86 and x64, I can confirm that all other Dell OEM images of Win7 Pro and Ultimate both x86 & x64 appeared later and again said genuine ones include literally this $OEM$ of Win7 Pro with z appropriate modification of z serial to Ultimate one but z contents of files $oem$\$$\csup.txt & $oem$\$$\DELL_version remains same to z originally leaked Win7 Pro. That's why I doubt those said JUST UNBOXED Win7 Ultimate images as genuine.
I have no idea if 100% genuine or not... but in DELL $OEM$ this is the only reference i can find to unattended.xlm {oobe.cmd} taken from HomePremium @echo off. start /w regedit /s %systemroot%\setup\scripts\oem.reg del /F /Q %systemroot%\setup\scripts\oem.reg if not exist %systemroot%\panther mkdir %systemroot%\panther if not exist %systemroot%\panther\unattend.xml copy %systemroot%\setup\scripts\oem.xml %systemroot%\panther\unattend.xml call %systemroot%\setup\scripts\slp.cmd del /F /Q %systemroot%\setup\scripts\slp.cmd :Cleanup del /F /Q %systemroot%\setup\scripts\oobe.cmd
Aha ok thanks Please forgive me, im still new to this How do i get my hands on those dvd's ? And can i extract logo's, oem info, keys and cert from the computer itself easily?
Sorry but I guess that u misunderstood z point of our talk with Urie. When we were discussing Autounattend.xml it was not about Dell $OEM$ folder(s) published in this thread but z Alienware $OEM$ + Autounattend file as appeared in another thread here a couple of months ago.
Hey guys maybe you could give me a bit of help i am using the ASUS Ultimate source folder from post 1 and i have it placed in my sources folder the install loads the cert key and sets the System Information but does not copy the background or set the theme any ideas what i need to do or how to fix??? also does not copy asuslogo.bmp to the logo location
I put $OEM$ (I downloaded from here) in source folder then burned it to DVD with Win7 Pro 64bit OEM for a Gateway laptop. 30 days activation came up. Am I doing something wrong?
You downloaded what $OEM$ folder ? i take it this is Upgrade dvd and you may not have SLIC 2.1 in bios ?
It to bad because I post the gateway dvd on torrent and cannot put a link here it works to 515 Target file downloads: 226
