    just a suggestion... you should sort it by EDITION too and not just by DL HOSTS

    Link works... but where do you put the files?
    I have Extensa Acer but these files I have no idea where to put into the iso
    so as to make it work.

    Hey I'm 67 & slightly lost without clear instructions.

    Download this and place the $OEM$ folder into the sources folder of your setup dvd iso ! thats it!! this is for home premium tho! :)

    Anybody knows for sure, Asus OEMInformation registry entry for desktop?
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation]

    Basically "Model"="ASUS Desktop" ? Instead of Notebook?

    Possibly some more info would be handy i,e where did you add the $OEM$ folder it needs' to go in sources.:)

    I've have installed it on my Dell Vostro 420
    and did not work,ask for key and would not activate!
    I've tried dell and acer "Sources Folder" without any problems,worked fine
    so therefore I am a little confused
    it is because my bios is SLIC Version 2.0 ?

    I am using vista ultimate OEM by adding $OEM$ folder in vista ISO. My vista is running fine till date as OEM . Now i like to know is it possible that i can make windows 7 OEM for dell as i made it before of vista?
    If yes how? please guide me through. Where i need to put $OEM$ folder in windows 7 ISO and what others things i need to know/check for it?

    Bro can you please tell me which SLIC i need to mod with? currently i am on A13. So which one would be fine for me? A16 or A17? Do i need to first install Dell's Bios A16 or A17 first and then i need to update with Moded Bios A16 or A17?

    All i need to Remove ei.cfg from source folder (from my ISO of Professional) and have to add $OEM$ folder (Dell ultimate OEM folder ) in source folder after moding my BIOS SLIC to 2.1? Isn't?
