"Windows Millennium Updates Pack [MultiLanguage]" I need to update this folder. I have a few new files. But I feel lazy to upload everything after 5-10 files. I'm wondering which sorting form is better: 'Hotfix sorted' or 'Local sorted'
ok. But it will take a long time. I have updates for Win95 and 98. But there is a mess. They need to be sorted. Also I found some updates for nt-4 on the old hdd. After I sort them a little. I will post them in a separate section.
No problem, I will store it for you for at least 10 years, and I will give it to you whenever you need it. I recently bought a tape drive system, which is a longer-lasting storage than a hard drive.
Unfortunately, Streamer drives and tapes are quite expensive, at least in the TB range. It would make a good backup system for everyone.
Oh, I want it. But I've seen the price tags. The only tape drive I've ever had was way back then, a 40MB tape drive connected to the floppy controller.
IIRC it was called DAT back then. And SCSI was required as it was the high-performance bus system at the time. IDE was rather slow until DMA came along, and many high-end devices like DAT and the first CD recorders were all SCSI. In my first private computer years, all I needed was CPBackup and a few floppy disks. Well, not anymore.
@wvv000 Good morning That's a bold promise you made to @Shwarc but okay. So... if he needs a copy of whatever he uploaded (say 500 GB just to take a small number) 6-8 years from now and you deliver on that promise, you have my deepest respect. Kind regards
The earliest data on my hard drive is from 2001. I think what you said is a bit exaggerated. If there is a faster network in the future, I will certainly be happy to serve you, but he will not give me 500GB of data.
As long as you honor what you promise @Shwarc , I can handle my self. It was just a number, you don't know how much data he has.
