Slovakian and Slovenian. These are the same packages that were available on Microsoft Download for Windows 2k / XP. 24 language packs for wmp9. But then there were legal problems with Windows Update. And many updates for Slovakian and Slovenian were downloaded separately. Many older MS articles on security have links for Slovakian and Slovenian separately.
Yeah, I'm sure we'll be "informed" how MS got it wrong too. Accidentally adding Signature="$Chicago$" to those pesky INFs, letting the executables launch on wrong operating systems, incorrect hashes for WindowsUpdate, ad nauseam.
abbodi1406 may have inadvertently provided us a little pay-dirt. There for a while, the 2K and 9x updates for IE 5/6 were one-in-the same file. He lists two sets in some of his spreadsheets (for some downloads), examples: ie6.0sp1-kb867801-x86-enu_6b13b3b808b958538296f73f4ede4838d5504cce.exe ie6.0sp1-kb867801-x86-enu_cc22696edf3aa06a64148d5f9a7530c547614549.exe ie6.0sp1-kb867801-x86-rus_05dd33bcd688b613b1002376dfc6a75a6fcb3d62.exe ie6.0sp1-kb867801-x86-rus_a74deefe43d687c40edcf98600cc4f1f6c550159.exe I haven't dug on this yet, they may be the same file and MS provided a link for 9x and a link for 2K, they may have provided two different files altogether or maybe they updated the KB at some point. Anyway, you can usually tell the files that were for both operating systems because there was no OS defined in the file name and it was in the era before MS started putting month/year and things like 'secu' in the URLS. These aren't the latest files for IE on 9x/ME (MS started providing separate downloads at a certain point), but at least all languages that were supported in 2K are there. There's several more of the files, perhaps I'll reply to the thread and list what I can see.
In this post. I got the wrong topic, "Windows 98 SE Kor Update". The correct topic is "[REQUEST / INFO] Windows 2000 SP and Tools" All links are here. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/request-info-windows-2000-sp-and-tools.69850/#post-1287873
