gatherosstate.exe and GenuineTicket.xml has been working for me even on most recent 1903 when combined with DAZ Windows Loader on Win7! . However using a legit Product Key is most ideal IMHO. I purchased a legit for Windows 10 Pro x64 for $14 USD from Link Removed about 3 years ago and it allowed me to upgrade my MS Surface 3 that came with Windows 10 Home with no issues at all. They emailed me to the key about 15mins after my order. EDIT : My bad on posting the link! ~MC
