You're right. Now that I re-think that, I prefer having a readme (if it's not to much work). I'm currelty working on improving the Toolkit's readme so I thought that having one inside the insert_name_here tool would be good
i like the new test version iwas thinking if there is an otion to choose to activation to the setup or not
Wow great work...thought i'll give my 2 cents 1) For the branding/activation to setup, if I wanted to apply them to a non-AIO DVD/USB, I would have to uncheck both boxes and click apply? Wouldn't that be a little un-intuitive? And is it possible to apply branding/activation script to an ISO (since the tooltips say DVD/USB)? 2) Similarly, can the Integrator work for USB or ISO? Can someone explain the commit/discard in Integrator? 3) Don't you guys think it's better to change all the 'Select' to 'Browse' ? 4) Also, a regular user looking to activate windows might be confused and not spot the 'cert/product key' and instead try to figure out what 'activation to setup' means, simply because they'll be looking for the word 'activation' 5) When I close the program(without making changes), it prompts me to permanently delete folder 'Tasks' ??
1. AIO in this case means it activates any version of W7 and has all brands, doesnt require an W7 AIO 3. Maybe, but you have to select what to integrate after browsing 5. Yea beacuse the W7 iso's are unpacked to that folder and probably other stuff. Awesome too, awesome update again Alpha!
Actually i'm talking about the 2 checkboxes on the main page: Branding to setup & Activation to setup. If you hover your mouse over the Branding to setup and Activation to setup, it says : Select to apply to a Windows AIO setup, Leave unchecked for a non-AIO setup.
I noticed it now Im almost done trying the tool out actually, soon finished integrating language pack and I must say it worked flawless. However I would like the tool to be able to integrate more than 1 language pack at the time, how about adding several ones to the list? I see it will do the same to Boot.wim, will it also copy EULA?
Thanks for the feedback, this is why ive only released as a tester.. I need feedback and suggestions for any changes/addons needed How about unattended ? EDIT: It needs a readme, anyone ???
I can make a read me file, perhaps this evening as Im going to a graduation party, my friends sister is finally done. An uttanded would be pretty nice to have, we should keep this tool clean and minimalistic as much as possible Will the tool exports enterprise if its included?
I suggest you do right away!! An idea, how about adding drivers, updates & language packs to a list and press integrate, all in one step?
No problem at all, I will also test the functions as I write the read me so it might take sometime before I can release it. Ah probably a good idea anyway I think it is and it would simplify things i bet.
