I am trying to activate W7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM on a Packard Bell SW51 laptop. W7 installs OK and W7 OEM Brander does the branding but there does not seem to be a key. Any ideas?
You can use <ANY> Home Premium SLP key for Home Premium, SLP Key's are not bound to a specific Certificate just the Version of Windows, only the Certificate has to be from Packard Bell.
I'm just guessing buttt ... 2.0.0.8 comes before 2.3 (which me thinks alpha mentioned was to be next major rels 2.8 comes after 2.3 soooooooooooooo it's most prolly 2.0.0.8 since 2.3 has not been released. imho of course
You guys are doing a great job. 7-eleven.hell-hole_rider was like me probably not aware that you had to be invited to this thread. He was merely asking a question and was replied in an unfriendly way. You must be very busy on this project as reading some of your previous posts you are normally a very friendly and helpful person. Come on guys you are great people and MDL is a great place with a friendly atmosphere. We all come here to learn and hopefully participate in creating this great community. The above post didn't seem to reflect this.
I think it's just a misunderstanding here; 7-eleven.hell-hole_rider didn't get the joke / point in the previous conversation. Having missed that, he tried to help by making his point. No need to even take this further in my opinion - it will always happen and people should learn to take no offence from such issues
