After using your OEM Brander and fix now I cannot change the user account image. I got message that i have to contact with administrator. There is no passibility to remove this fix from the system (the disable fix button doesnt work). How to change account image now?
The fix has a disable function (You need to logoff or restart after applying or disabling). If this problem persists then do the following: Code: Open start menu-- type: gpedit.msc - when group policy opens select Computer Configuration (left panel), Administrative Templates, Control Panel, User Accounts, Apply the default user logon picture to all users. Now make sure Not Configured is selected. Also did you apply the reg fix due to user image not changing?
Only problem would be that Group Policy Editor is only available in Professional and Ultimate/Enterprise . Would be an issue on Home Premium and lower.
Thats a good point R29k The reg fix does the same so it should enable/disable EDIT: Update Changelog v0.7: Added ONKYO Updated Casper, intel, Twinhead Removed Dealin now (Dealin-Depo)
Thanks for all the updates! Very much appreciated Possible to have it automatically find out what brand the computer is and select it?
It does select computer brand I just tried version v0.7 on a dell machine and dell was already selected.
A little note.. I tried this in vmware today and ASUS text on the wallpaper is only halfvisible, the right half of the text is outside the screen AS & half u. Seems to be related to resolution.
Whats the picture position set to ? Using the app 'Select desktop and change picture position' before applying
The add 'Model' is in custom (is that what you mean) ? The next release will fix the custom adding option and reg fix, also i may release the silent switches for windows setup
Again..... one small bug.. This is the part of the original ASUS reg file: It should be: Otherwise the ASUS logo in the My Computer Properties cant be shown!!!
Cant understand why you have that bug, it works ok in a few pc's here: Code: "Logo"="\\windows\\system32\\oobe\\info\\ASUS_BADGE.bmp" It doesn't work the way you have it bro Remember that the oems ive included are fully editable..
