Customised the bios from the asus site 1409 version the latest with the dell 2.1 slic using the ami bios tool. This reported successful and works fine, booted to windows on it and everest reports dell slic. Ran the two commands, key + cert both returned successful. Opened computer properties....25days left to activate. Rebooted with no difference, retried the commands with no change in situation. All that i've done has returned successful and yet activation isn't kicking in. Solved the problem for any others trying to do the same i used a different dell slic file and set the slp to dell.txt now its activated fine, i'ld suggest avoiding the CL09 file if you want windows 7 activated, though it may be because i used asus.txt slp.
