confirmed, the XPS13 dell bios recovery, according to the method described that I worked for me:
    run the exe file, downloaded
go to c: user / appdata / local / temp / Temp Extac
copy the file to another folder SPIDER.cap
connect pendrive I have a 512mb, (I have not tested with others)
fat format the pendrive then copy the file SPYDER.cap
once copied must rename by BIOS.cap ... ready
Now it put the device into the XPS I connect on the right side
press the end key, hold connect the charger, wait a second and release the button .... the stick end will start to flash the bios ...

Thanks to LatinMcG, for giving me the link to follow and share with you
Forgive my English, I'm from Madrid, greetings to all the community

Hi guys i had to register for this, just tried flashing a bios for my Inspiron 3421 which was a no go, here's what i've done so far.

    Extracted .hdr file using \writeromfile
    3421a05.hdr was produced
placed that file in the root of a 2GB sandisk flashdrive
    Removed battery and charger
Held down END key, placed in charger
Only power LED and hdd light blinks but black screen, no beeps, nothing.

    Please help!

    try A02
    O14A02.rom
    or A03
    O14A03.rom
u might need the amifldrv32.sys as its EFI
