Note: If in case when I successfully update MSE I will get these results: Then I will test how MSE 4.10 will behave if Windows Vista Extended Kernel is installed + osver.ini with this output: Code: [C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\msseces.exe] MajorVersion=6 MinorVersion=1 BuildNumber=7601 CSDVersion=Service Pack 1 UPD: Ahhhhhhhhh, this is also when out of date definitions, so, maybe with updated definitions I will get the same, but the scanning options will not be grayed out
If you feel your PC is too fast, just underclock the CPU, no need to turn it in to a 486 with that useless crap
And... after installing SHA-2 update, now MSE 4.10 timebomb is triggered, but it is also when out of date definitions, and without Windows Vista Extended Kernel + osver.ini
@George King Does your future Vista2ESD project will include MSE? If so, then it will include MSE 4.4 or debombed MSE 4.10?
