That's been established a few months ago IP's now also need the HWID/Digital Entitlement to be activated (or a working kms solution).
Me thinks he doesn't understand how to establish a vaild HWID? @lobo11: that article is dated juny 19. 2015, since the release of 10586 some things changed with activating and ip's.
I've read and read the OP over and over again, the only thing i can make up from it is: "only upgrading to 10 isn't enough, you have to do a clean install of 10 RTM (what MSFT really doesn't use anymore as release term) to be or get activated after the coming 1607 release.
You are correct, I have wiped and cleaned installed a hundred times without ever inputting a key and I am always activated.
Of course I upgrade my Insider Preview activated to RTM and by doing so my HWID is now registered to MS Servers so need to ever input a key when upgrading or clean install to newer builds was my point.
Hello all! Windows 10 Insider Preview was installed activated but released RTM and I missed to upgrade but removed Windows 10 Insider Preview and installed clean Windows 10 RTM and it don't activated automatically. I installed later after long period but the same. This is problem which must be solved!! Maybe some HWIDs are removed from MS activation server?
