Hi I cannot seem to install Windows Vista Ultimate on the said system, it installs just fine but just hangs on the bootloader screen, it says... Boot Loader ACPI Bootmgr version x.x.x.... Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Use the windows repair to fix the boot: To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows RE. To do this, follow these steps: * Put the Windows Vista installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer. * Press a key when you are prompted. * Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next. * Click Repair your computer. * Click the operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next. * In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Command Prompt. Type Bootrec.exe /fixboot, and then press ENTER. Once successful, reboot and you will be able to enter Vista. But this will still have problems activating the Vista, you must use vista loader v3.0.0.1 and after that repeat the same process as above to enter Vista and it will be activated.
