Well, do you think it's normal that the CPU temp is around 50 celcius when idle and come around 90~95 (max is 97) when I play angry birds? Maybe when it reaches 100, it will automatically shut me down (I use unlocked bios for acer 5750, insyde v1.21)
Well, I do not think it's normal ... but what can I do? I hope it comes out a new BIOS or that someone in this forum can unlock the options on this.
I own an Acer 7530G and can say, even under moderate load it has 90°C-95°C. At least for AMD CPU that seems to be common. It shuts off at 110°C, but that was only one time. GPU is ca. 120°C.
I'm wondering that these temperatures are accepted by the manufactures. It is no secret that semi conductors only have a short life with temperatures beyond +70°C
Well, I set the fan speed to 100 all the time, and the temp now goes around 45 celsius. After 30 mins, it turn off again. Maybe it's not related to temperature or fan speed.
So you have the same problem as me and he is not solved with cooling? But what could this be? My computer shuts down when I use the processor for about 30 minutes at 100%. However I have used several benchmark and he never resigned .... It may be something to do with the "games"? Something that is only affected when playing?
Sometimes I think that some GPU are defected that will corrupt when some specific things are accessed. But I can never verify it as my computer shutdown at random interval: when I'm using VMWare, when I'm playing mario, and even when I'm surfing with firefox
GPU is always involved. For example, some notebooks have two GPUs, one low-power and one more powerful. In my Acer, this is called ''Hybrid SLI''. I had some OS freezes when the system switched GPUs.
I'm running out of idea. CPU temp is around 50 celsius, same with GPU temp. Unlocked BIOS with custom fan speed always set to max speed. And the computer keep shuting down. Maybe all of us have defected hardware (bad GPU, to be specific), or stupid BIOS that calculate wrong temperature and halt the CPU/GPU at the wrong time.
Problem is your Intel Graphics Driver.(i had the same before) In newer drivers, Optimus and some optimizations with Flash player are bugged. Solution: Rollback to 10. 28xx series.
In my case, the problem seems to have been solved with new drivers intel HD graphics. He is not giving me more problems .... for now.
