Yeah, I also installed latest intel HD graphics driver 2 weeks ago, and the problem hasn't gone yet. However the frequency is much lower (maybe once a week). How often does the problem occur on your machine @DaveJoker?
Yap, that's it. In my case the machine continues to reboot suddently, but only when I'm playing AOE. Very strange because I am a colaborator of SETI experiences, and use BOINC with CPU and GPU all time at 100%. In these cases de computer doesn't reboot, but when I am playing the situation changes... AOE uses much less resources then BOINC with my configurations, so it stays more cooler. I have no idea why this situation occurs... I have no more things to try Please, keep this topic ON.
Maybe waiting for a new driver? Or is there anyway to report this to Intel and make them do faster :|

Please do the same, otherwise if just one owner contacts they would not do anything.

I have the same problem.I just bought this laptop and have no problem with temperature. as "bk109" mentioned, the problem is related to battery. I tested it several times.when the battery charger is plugged, there is no problem an I can work with laptop as much as I can, but when the charger is unplugged it shuts down randomly. My BIOS version is 2.14 @DaveJoker: what is the patch you mentioned.I'm really suffering from this issue and need to fix it
