    Hi there,
my laptop Acer Aspire V 17 Nitro Black Edition VN7-791G-50P8 (Poseidon MB 14203-1M
448.02G08.001M) with Intel Core i5-4210H and nVidia GeForce GTX 960M, has starting problems.
When I start the device, the LEDs light up, fans run first normally, then full speed and then off and on...... the display stays black.
I cleaned the inside of my notebook and replaced thermal paste. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I can't find anywhere how you "modified" the BIOS? Maybe you're talking about it also a bit and maybe You can ask your question, what are you waiting for an answer to, or what help do you really need?
Changing the thermal paste does not in itself make any screen black. So there's a reason in something else you're not really talking about. So tell us now, what is the real reason and how it may be related to BIOS?

I think you should reseat the RAM in you laptop. Sometimes when cleaning and moving the ram it will come undone a little bit and would cause similar issues. I would suggest you remove a stick then power it on and continue to move them around until it works. If this doesn't help then you know at least it isn't a RAM issue.
