Alright, I found it and please tell me if this is correct; I buy the equipment and then erase my chip via the software then I write to my chip using the original .fd bios file that I got from acer website. I save everything and then my laptop should boot back normally to windows. did i miss anything?
@lukemanolia The .fd file of Acer AN515 bios update is not suitable for flashing because it contains only part of the device's firmware. Before erasing, you need to read and save all the information from the chip. This will be your bios that needs to be repaired. Do it yourself or leave it for someone else.
Everything that contains SPI chips of the 24 and 25 series. CH341A is pretty cheap programmer. By the way, your BIOS dump is empty. You know why?
@lukemanolia Following the instructions from the guide, you can recover the BIOS. That's all what I know. I'm not being very helpful ya?
