Not sure if this is a BIOS problem, or even the right forum for this. My X1430G has 2x2GB PC3-10600 from the factory. I got in my 2x4GB PC3-12800 today and when installed causes the computer to beep constantly. I removed one of the new sticks and installed one of the old ones. This causes the BIOS to recognize 6GB, as well as for windows to say 6GB (1.99GB usable). I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Could this be a bios limitation? Any way to get past it with an update, etc? Thanks, Buddy Ochoa
