    Hi guys and gals
I got an Acer Travelmate 4002 WLMi notebook.
I have the Phoenix BIOS 3A10 and the OS Vista Ultimate.
My notebook is faster and more stable than under XP.
The only point of sorrow is:
I got a power icon, saying: NO BATTERY DETECTED.
In my device manager, the devices: MS ACPI conform controll method battery and MS Smart battery subsystem
seem to be correctly installed and in their properties it is reported that those devices work excellent.

I have talked to some people of MS and Acer.
Both parties say, that it is need of a new BIOS, including the Smart Battery in the ACPI tables.
MS says, it is not their job and Acer says, they don't feel responsible for it.

Searching a bit more, I found this problem occuring since 2005 in several Linux derivates and Ubuntu.
They somehow changed a DSDT part and everything works fine.

I beg you in the name of more than thousand users.

    Please help.!!!

Question: When did you buy your Acer Travelmate 4002 WLMi notebook? Which date was it?
