Yeah, I figured out how to add shortcut icons from day one (it's similar to the feature in office). If you are one of those people that doesn't tweak the toolbar then half the window is just dead space. Seems like a waste, that's all. Another thing I can't find is how to clear the list of recently opened docs, those listed in the window when you first open the app. Changing the list number in "preferences" to one and then restarting the app will get rid of the list but there should be an easier way of doing this.
Agreed. With wide-screen notebooks becoming the dominant form, vertical screen space is a premium and these toolbars consume too much of it. Then there's the Navigation Pane on the left and the Tasks Pane on the right...Overall, I'm not that impressed with the new interface or the style of the new icons. They look very basic, very "Windows XP-ish" rather than the high resolution icons you see in Windows 7/Vista. I think I would have been happier if Adobe adopted Microsoft's Office ribbon concept. I quite like the ribbon, having gone through the learning curve of adapting to it. The list of recently opened files (the welcome Screen) is another annoyance and there is no option to "don't show this again". As you've already done, reducing the file count to 1 (in Preferences), is as good as it gets. Deleting the following Registry key (and all sub-keys) will clear the list temporarily but Acrobat will just recreate the key next time a file is opened. Hi Friends: I have Adobe Acrobat 9.4.1 Pro Extended in my computer with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and MS-Office 2010 32-bits...and I have the following questions for you about Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10: 1. Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10 is the next generation for Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended? Will we have Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10 Extended? 2. Do I need to uninstall the Adobe Acrobat 9.4.1 Pro Extended first and then install the new Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10? 3. Will all features with MS-Office 2010 install with Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10? I don't want conflicts between MS-Office 2010 32-bits and Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10 Thanks for your answers, TecMan
There is no Pro Extended version, only Standard and Pro (the Suite includes Pro). Uninstall 9.4 first and clean up all remaining files and registry entries. When you install Acrobat X it will install the toolbar in Office (32bit only).
Thank for the advice. The version 7 is the reader only. Do I have to uninstall Reader 7, does it matter or not? By the way where is the "thanks" button?
I actually have a warez version of Acrobat X Pro and it is the same type of activation as the CS5 suites. Just install, use the host blocker, and use any serial and you will be good. Of course I cannot share any warez things here because it is against the sites rules but just google "Acrobat X Pro Torrent" and you will find it lol.
does anyone know if there's any way of avoiding the 'register your product' annoyance which tells u to sign up an adobe account??
The activation blocker for Acrobat 9 Pro did work for x Pro at least for the time being. Plus, one more activation blocker. There is also an amt.dll file or something. When done, opening may immediately or another opening cause a prompt to sign up or register. Just skip or cancel. This was there in 9 too.
Does anybody have Acrobat X Pro installed with Firefox 4 Beta 7? Does the Acrobat add-in work in the beta? (I'm referring to the Acrobat web page capture plug-in - not the plug-in that just enables PDFs to be viewed in the browser). Regards
The Suite has been leaked to the torrent scene (not on wzor yet). It's 3.24Gb. Anyone able to verify if it's real or not? SavinivaS, I'll install the beta of firefox and let you know if the toolbar shows up or not.
I downloaded the Suite and can confirm it is the real thing! The serial used for the standalone Acrobat X Pro does not work. You need to use the UPDATED keygen released by CORE. Google "Adobe Acrobat X Suite Multilingual ESD ISO-CORE" and you'll find lots of links. Enjoy.
Have downloaded the latest trials from Adobe.com The latest CORE keygen v.1.11 includes working key for Acrobat X but no key for Creative Suite 5 Design Premium. Can't seem to find.
As you said, I can not also find the keygen for Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium on Google. Does anyone have the hint how to find the keygen for Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium please ? Thanks a lot in advance.
For those of you unable to find core's keygen for CS5 go to "h--p://scenereleases.info" and search for it.
I don't think there is a keygen for CS5 "Design Premium" -- no matter, I should have downloaded the CS5 "Master Collection" in the first place!
