"Cloning" has no image - it just clones from drive to drive, so nothing to validate! Only backup image on media (any) has a file that can be validated...
The one I used "AcronisTrueImage2021_39184.iso" doesn't have WinePE. Boots to Acronis only. I'll try the other one you listed. AcronisTrueImage2021_39184.iso will validate another older tib image I had. edit: tried AcronisTrueImage2021.iso. Same result. Segmentation Fault, core dumped. Maybe the installed version works, but CloneZilla works. That's all I need.
Hello guys, Sorry if it's a misplaced question, but I have Acronis True Image 2016 (licensed) and I was wondering if it was worth it to upgrade to 2020 or 2021? I'm only using the WinPE Bootable Rescue Media from 2016, that I must recreate every once in a while to get the latest WinPE drivers. Thanks
Hello Skyteddy I have tried several versions of Acronis The 2017 and 2019 versions are good, the backup lasting 1 hour and the restoration 50 minutes On the other hand for the 2020 and 2021 versions it is a disaster the backup lasting more than 4 hours and the restoration 3 hours 30 is much too long I stay with the 2019 version for the moment Have a good day
