Activate Legit Windows 8 Retail?

    Does anyone know if it'll be possible for me to install the RTM with one of the keys today, without activation, and come back on Oct. 26 with a legit upgrade key and use that key on my existing RTM setup without having to reinstall everything and whatnot?

    Wow...long question/sentence.

    If you get a Legit Key from M$... yes you can Activate it...later..
    I recommend before you do... use SLMGR -upk then reboot an you will get the Activate popup, then enter the Legit Key ... almost instantly you will be Activated...

    infact some are doing this on a daily basis.... with Fully Legit Keys issued by M$.

    You can do that if you use retail key, but I don't know about upgrade key, maybe it requires previous genuine system (XP/Vista/7)
