It did work. In just single click. hahah! goodjob buddy. It works like a charm. And I already added the XML file in task scheduler.. Hopefully, it will auto reactivate my office. it's very cool. Btw, some antivirus might detect it as malware. Disable your av first when youre goin to download this. And then add it on your excluded files/whitelist. it's false detection

I'll actually download it when its something new and not a previous hack lol....
When I don't need to activate every 180-210 days and theres a new method I'll actually be intrigued...
And yea I already figured the ZWT kms thing could be used cause it can be on "any" MS products...

Since this is pretty much tuvi's hack with a few more bells and whistles this should work the same as drazen's, mine, etc which will all need to be reactivated in 180-210 days. Please give us something new and not something which is the same hack with a new interface painted on to it...Till now I would recommend sticking with whatever you have already...

    Perfect.
The version I installed "14.0.4763.1000_Select_volume_ship_x86_en-us_dvd", had KMS Client keys already installed for pro plus and visio.

All that was needed was /sethst and I had to hit /act twice before it activated.

Client was an XP machine, with ZWT running over the LAN.

If you have multiple computers, and have Office 2010 and or Win7 Pro/Enterprise, and or Server2k8, it may be worthwhile to leave ZWT running all the time on one computer, and let Windows / Office activate automatically on the built in schedule, no scheduled tasks needed.

Though it is good that Office 2010 much like Windows 7, will just enter Shareware annoyance mode when outside of grace, and not actually shut down on you. So truthfully, to use either unlicensed, you can install them, and then do nothing to hack crack or patch and use them indefinitely, with no more annoyance than what people tolerate from using shareware versions of Winrar indefinitely.

    I have a question:

I'm new at this and... I have to say that I love it! Unfortunately, I'm much too old to start a new career. I downloaded the mini-KMS Activator v.1.051 BETA - It's a beautiful program with a clean, easy to use interface. I even really love the colors. I am now (slowly) downloading Office 2010 select edition RTM. Do I 1) Install Office 2010. 2) Run the KMA activator --- and that's it - I will have an activated Office 2010 for 180 days (needing to repeat the KMS in 179 days). Is there anything else I need to do to activate Office 2010? It just seems too easy. Thanks!

Once you install office 2010 RTM run the mini KMS activator and it will give you 180 days. At that point you have to run it again to get another 180 days but there is no limit on how many times you run it. Personally I would go with Truvi's method though cause you can set it to run automatically based off of a schedule so you don't have to worry about it. If you are interested I can provide you with more info. Hope this helps. :)

Sam, thank you for your offer! :) You will probably think this is silly but I like the idea of running the activator every 180 days, in fact, I will probably run it much more often. It's so simple to use and only takes a few seconds. I just want to make sure there is not anything else I should do - such as turn off the internet while I use the mini KMS (Microsoft must be wondering why so many Office RTM's have been installed before the product is even released), or turn off automatic Office updates (if there is such a thing).

Ok, well it is your call dude. BTW the only way to keep office from getting updates is to check something like "Do not recieve product updates" or something like that the first time you open an office program. I think you can change that in any of the programs options though. It goes through the standard Windows Update module though. Just leave everything alone and it works just fine. Don't worry about shutting your internet off or anything like that. The KMS emulation part will run regardless.

Update: Basically the Mini KMS Activator like all other KMS based emulators sets the program(s) to look for the IP: 127.0.01 which is each computer's loopback IP so technically it does not send signal outside of your actual computer, then the emulator runs and act's like a real KMS server that the program basically connects too, this is all happening inside your own computer or local network depending on how you have it set up but it is not going anywhere else on the net. That is why you don't have to worry about that dude.

I would Second what sam said and go with tuvi's method cause it seems to me that the mini-KMs thingee and all others like it are just regurgitated versions of tuvi's hack and none of them even seem to make any progress toward improving it sadly enough. Maybe just maybe a person can actually try to make something happen before going the easy route... I like seeing exactly what a program is doing before it does its thing hence the reason I'm not in favor of the mini-kms thing...I see three options...

    1. Do the hack manually with opening Command prompt...
    2. Make a .bat file to do it for you every 2-3 months and use the task scheduler...
    3. Be lazy (more power to you) and get a program you have to start manually every 2-3 months

Another satisfied customer of mini-KMS. I uninstalled whatever the last RC was, and after the reboot put on RTM. Ran KMS, installed the service, and activated. Quite slick.

What's Key Manager Office 2010 VL do? I assumed it was, well, a key manager, so I ran it and it said that it uninstalled a key, though it didn't seem to affect anything.

It'll be interesting to see if we can actually run 180 days without the KMS service running. From what I've read, after activation the "KMS client needs to see the KMS host at least once during the 180 days," though it's unclear what this means exactly (or how often the apps go looking for it).

I actually gave a try at trying to make a uninstaller for the KMS hack for my thing and I can tell that it did not work at all...
If anything it screwed up office 2010 and it had to do a little fixme thing with the setup...
In order to really get rid of this thing you have to go into the registry and put in the orginal values which I can't put in cause I already put the KMS thing in effect...
I'll prob give the uninstaller another shot in the next few days to try to make it work out...
    Pretty much just wait...

Just installed & activate using the KMS then uninstalled KMS, so am interest as above to see how it goes. Does it really need to be running continuous, i'd much rather just reinstall/run it again approaching 180 days.
