Automated re-activation after 180 days using KMService from mini-KMS_Activator_v1.051 If you do not want to keep KMService working all time you can change the startup option to manual and my program will start service when you want to re-activate Office. You can automate this process by creating a job in the task sheduler that runs reactivator. Need to have installed mini-KMS_Activator_v1.051 or mini-KMS_Activator_v1.052 link: ACTIVATOR.exe reuploaded link:
Mini-KMS Activator v1.052 is posted on WZor .. EDIT: N/M.. i didn't see that you included the new version
I have a great Idea its almost inspirational to me. Can me merge all these threads and questions into one ubber thread labled the Office 2010 Repository like you guys did with the Windows 7 thing...
Has anyone been able to successfully create an auto task for the KMS activator(Via Truvi's method) for XP? I tried today but when I tested it, a CMD window appears real fast but disappears and I know for sure that it could not have ran that fast.
You will need to drop the /f bit in the end of the scheduled task command as XP does not support this switch.
re I really do not see any reason why it would be necessary to include anything, this is the compiled batch file that runs the service when you need and you can install them yourself. I do not believe that this a problem.
This thread has been of great help to me in getting Office 2010 working. Thanks everyone for all of your contributions. I am, however, still a little bit confused about how the Mini KMS-ACTiVATOR 1.052 works. I know that it installs a service automatically on your computer in order to function as the KMS server, but does that mean that I won't have to run any scheduled tasks and that Office 2010 will automatically re-activate itself using that KMS service to reset the grace period to 180 days automatically or do I need to use a scheduled task to do that? Thanks.
Ok it works by activating office 2010 via a KMS emulator which was authored by ZWT. On order to check that office 2010 has been activated just verify by opening word and clicking help. The general theme is that if there is a red bar it has not been activated. If you wanna figure out if the task need in the task manager is there just type task scheduler into the task bar. Then go to user created task and you should see a task that is used to activate office 2010 every 3 months...
Thanks for the explanation Smorgan. Also, your programs look great drazen11, but how does your "Reactivatorsilent.exe" file work? I am using Office 2010 Select Edition RTM and the Mini KMS-Activator 1.052 and that Mini KMS-Activator activates my version of Office 2010 just fine to give me 180 days, but when I run your "Reactivatorsilent.exe" later it doesn't reactivate Office 2010 or reset the count back to 180 days. Is there something I could be doing wrong? Thanks.
I get an error message when trying to activate office using your method: C:\Windows\system32>cscript "%PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Office\Office14\ospp.vbs" /act Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.8 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. Repeat activation request upto 5 times. If it is not activated delete the OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform registry key and try again.
Ok, I deleted the registry keys. When I try to use your method, I get the following error message: ERROR CODE: 0x80070426 ERROR DESCRIPTION: Run the following: cscript ospp.vbs /ddescr:0x80070426 ERROR DESCRIPTION: An unknown error occurred. Which means: "The service has not been started" When I try to use wzor activator (mini-kms activator v1.1) I get the same error message, although I can see kmsservice active in Windows Task Manager services tab. When trying to rearm, I get the following error: 0xc0000022 - A process has requested access to an object, but has not been granted those access rights. I'm running the cmd window and activator as administrator, on a Windows 7 64bit machine. What else can I do? Thanks!
Thanks! After following the instructions you've referred me to, Office Professional has been successfully activated. I'll now try to add Project, Visio, and the proofing tools for my language (and update you if necessary). [Update] Works perfectly on both windows 7/office 32bit and 64bit. Thanks!
