Yep, just to add to all of the confirmations already here, deleting the registry keys and repairing the installation resulted in it activating first time. Thanks!
This is fantastic, what the *f* am i doing wrong then for me it's the same as before, just errors and errors...
Are you sure you're doing everything right? 1- Delete the reg key mentioned; 2- Start Word; 3- Let it repair; 4- Restart when asked; 5- Open Word again, and let it repair (it might repair/configure twice); 6- Then go to CMD, open the keygen, and run the commands. If it doesn't work, just uninstall office, reinstall and retry all procedures. NOTE: Remember to have the original tokens.dat and pkeyconfig. If you have the beta ones, you have to replace by the original ones, by running activate.bat with the original files in the same folder.
You should format your computer and do a root install. Tokens.dat and pkeyconfig aren't related with this activation. I just pointed out you could be using the replacing those files method.
when i try to run the script i get cscript "%PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Office\Office14\ospp.vbs" cannot be found ?? same gos for the other line
Are you serious, format the computer for this!? haha...no way mate! I don't have any other problems so...office+activation -> recycle bin
Don't wyne so much then =P Besides, for the final version, unless you want to have problems with office, you will have to do a clean install to remove previous beta's garbage.
Just one more thing! So try to delete all in: Code: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\office and in: Code: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform Then reinstall office 2010 and try to activate as in first post. That is worked for me!
vajlent please follow my instructions exactly (post #111). if you still can't delete the key (it mean you did not uninstalled it properly) than make sure office is closed type services.msc and disable thes services: "Office 64 Source Engine" "Office Software Protection Platform" if it still does not work than change the permissions.
It can't be deleted but you deleted old office reg keys that was there! So try now to reinstall office and then activate as in first post!
I apologize in advance if someone has already sent in this issue. Somehow I have both the volume and retail versions activated. I cannot figure out how that can be since I have uninstalled all betas and the rtm version prior to trying your activation work around. I would include a screenshot but cannot seem to get my pic to upload. Sorry. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
