With windows 7, we were able to use windows loader during the install the pre-activate the OS and if it was a OEM based pc it could be setup to use all the logos etc etc, I was wondering if there is something like that for windows 8? or at least activate it during the install without having to manually do it with microsoft toolkit?
Not that I know of other than a legit key entered at OOBE or if your bios has a Windows 8 key embedded in it.
If you use an legit Product Key, Windows 8 will automatic activated at the end of installation. If you'll use VL Key, you have to use MTK for to activate min. once with the choice to auto activate further onward.
Q, what is the best solution in $oem folder $ pre activation for Windows 8 and office 2013, $oem$ made by Murphy 78 kms served 2.4.3 v2 or kmspico $oem $ v 6.1 made by heldigard? Thanks
I haven't pulled apart an iso I found (6.85 GB (7,356,055,552 bytes)) yet, but on boot in a VM I have an option to install any version of Win8 x64. Core, Pro, Ent etc or I can pick DarT8 to start instead of installing Win8. However, in the options to install Win8 they have options to install either Activated or not. So I ran an activated install and sure enough it was activated via KMS. So someone figured out how to make an install with KMS to activate before you get to the start screen, or directly after. Either way, as soon as I got to the start screen, I hit the cmd prompt and it was already activated. I'll pm the link to you Humph, you can check it out. I know you are interested in the inner workings of this stuff.
Replace install.wim store folder with C:\Windows\System32\spp\store folder from actvated pc and use pid.txt for serial. NOTES: Replacing store folder, only works on the same pc its taken from. Best to activate pc when doing the replacing of store folder.
Microsoft Toolkit is a great tool to Activate office and Windows ....But KMSpico is much small in size and yes it activates Windows 8, Windows 7, Office 2010/2013 and even Server 2012 and that too with just a click. Nothing more needs to be done... 1.Just do as i have instructed in my earlier post. 2.Install Microsoft Office 3.Now you have KMSpico in the sources folder of your pendrive or in your hard disk. 4. Just run KMSpico.exe....wait for few seconds.....You're done!!! 5. Open any Office Application like MS Word and check the Activation Status. Alternative- You can also use Microsoft Toolkit to Activate Office post Windows install. No, it wouldn't conflict.
So I just run it once and it activated windows 8 and office 2013 ? I don't gota tell it to do anything? sweet!
Yes it does so...i have tested it several times. Even if your Windows is not activated, and you installed Office in un-activated Windows, then just run KMSpico, it will detect your Windows and Office version and will activate both in few seconds...Check status after few seconds...your both Windows 8 and Office will be activated.
Nope....It's activated for 6 months...after that you'll have to just run KMSpico once again to stay activated. That's not much difficult.
