Okay, so i downloaded windows 7 ultimate. I've been reading about the offline activation stuff and all that. Just a few things are unclear to me. First off, where are the Bios SLIC2.0 and 2.1 files located? I'm running an Acer Aspire 5100 with AMD turion x2, 2 gig ram I just want to activate this and think it would be a good idea to make it simple so people can see how to do it step by step. Thanks! oh, and i think i have the retail, my product id has a 262 where the OEM is on the screenshots i saw.
You have to request for your bios to be modded, in the thread dedicated to requests. Your bios has to be slic 2.1 for windows 7 to be activated.
