Activating Microsoft Windows 8 Pro with media center for free with legitimate key!

I Created a ProWMC custom image using AIO guide. Then I installed it. But after installation, Windows is not accepting the ProWMC free upgrade key which Microsoft sent me on promotion. The registry trick also does not work for a clean install. Windows says key is valid but does not install it. Any Help?

I have a question just to make sure !

I have Windows 8 Pro ! which I activated before using KMS server ! and I received the key and now it's activated as Windows 8 Pro with Media Center

does it mean that the copy now is 100% legal ?

and If I want to setup Windows 8 again , can I use that key in the installation Process ? or I need a fake key ,then activate the copy ,then upgrade it to Media Center ?

 

Legal or correctly activated? There's a significant difference. If you got raided and checked, then no, it's obviously not legal.

And no, you can't do a clean install using that key as it's not a Windows 8 Pro key, it's a key specifically for that feature pack, and only works for installing that specific additional feature.

So at least the copy is considered genuine! and won't be discovered by Microsoft ! at least for now

Microsoft is really in the good mood since launching windows 8 lol, they don't wan't us to be a pirates

Just activated Win8 RTM 9600 using lunar21.no-ip.org:80

I heard there is Korean ppl successfully cracked the all edition windows 8? There is a release at torrent site, can anyone confirm?

 

So i just got confused after i had read too much, i got win8 x64 msdn copy which key i should use during installation??? and which key i should backup the 180-days (kms) or the one after permanently activating it with WMC key. additional notes may help me. Thanks

 

I did those step (for me is a strange method of it)

registered to M$ and get legimated key
1.) installed win8 pro with key *****-*****-*****-*****-J8CK4
2.) Changed Time Zone Cairo +2
3.) activated thought ksm : lunar21.no-ip.org:80
4.) added legimated key received from M$ to Win8 Pro (*****-*****-*****-*****-DGJY3)
5.) now showed licenced

step i repeated to 2 another different pc
"same key activate different pc with no problem"

did all of you received same key which last 5 digits are : DGJY3

I got three different keys through different emails and nothing like yours....

 

But....instead this elaborate method....what about going to an informatic shop and to take a photo (or a note...) of a sticker with valid key on a W8 Pc or Tablet?

A question regarding Windows Media Center : I've installed a Windows 8 Pro VL version and activated it by phone, all is ok but there is no way to add Media Center ( I got a key by mail this morning) by "add features to windows 8" or other way. Could you please help ?

From what I know, there is no WMC on Windows 8 Po VL.
I stand to be corrected....

 

You cannot install the WMC in the Windows 8 VL copies. You will see no add new features etc.
Also when you try to add the key through the activation, it will say that the key works, but when you click next, you will get a error saying something like incorrect key.
