    So how does one get that file without using KMS if they don't have access to an activated W8 system?

    i have this installed problem is that lsmgr.vbs -ipk <activation key> tells me that it doenst know which program it must be opned with.

    i must relate it to some kind of internal win app. i accidentally 2 days ago deletes appdate thats why htis problem arised. can you help?

    It should be slmgr, not lsmgr.

    successfully activated :D the WMC key arrived in a few hours!

    I just help him over teamviewer activated windows via kms but the problem is because he is using windows N and there is no option to add wmc so if he want that he should format to windows8 pro.

    anyone know if there is a limit on how many free wmc keys one can request for? does one stop getting keys after say like 4? :confused:

    I got six, and plan to get some more. As long as you use different email addresses, who will check how many you got?
