Activating Microsoft Windows 8 Pro with media center for free with legitimate key!

There are things, you do better by the book, as exactly as even possible .

 

So now I can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro with Windows Media Center using the key that Microsoft have send me?

 

If there is an option to add feature in sytem panel (Win-Key+Break) you probably can .

 

it's been three days and i still haven't received the wmc key in my email. anyone else got their key? how long does it usually take?

 

Last night I got both my keys in less than 30 minutes, one actually arrived in less than a minute.

ah, i see the problem now. i tried again with two different browsers. the first email i put into internet explorer 10. the 2nd email i put into chrome/iron. i checked my two emails and the one i submitted in ie10 had the wmc email. my 2nd email that i submitted for the wmc key in chrome/iron did not have the wmc email.

 

I had to set Cario Timezone for my PC to have it activate to the KMS Columbia server, any idea why? It was scary when it said "No KMS server could be contacted" when I was using my original Kuala Lumpur timezone, the pings to the server worked but it couldn't activate, till I found out the timezone issue

 

I applied for all my keys using chrome and all of them arrived I think at the start when win8 came out last week there was so much traffic asking for keys there server had a melt down
Try applying again from chrome again and its only one key per Email address

 

I used Firefox and they send the key within a minute. May be server down time.

 

at this rate, microsoft will have a ton of windows 8 adopters.

I have activated Windows 8 pro with KMS activation methods.. but please let me know If I use the free Media center pro key of Microsoft and upgrade. Will I still be able to activate Win 8 Pro with KMS servers?

 

There will be no need to reactivate using KMS servers. Once you install the Media Center key, you will have a permanently activated retail installation.

 

Unless you change enough hardware to become deactivated. People keep forgetting this. If you install and activate WMC just to have a legit activation and don't actually need WMC, using KMS activation might actually better because hardware changes and reinstalls become effortless if you run your own KMS server.

 

So, if we have an activated copy of windows 8 pro and we make some major hardware changes in our pc, then Win8 will become deactivated again? Are are you talking about the data.dat method only?

 

If the hardware change is triggering a deactivation, the backup of your previous activation becomes useless.

 

Thats for kms activation or data.dat activation? or no matter method of activation?
