    Be patient, they will arrive, it takes more than 3 days now, 7-10 days is now normal.

    Question here,
    I've activated my Windows 8 Pro using the key,
    can I use the same key to fresh install the windows 8 Pro on the same PC?

    You can't use that key to install, only to upgrade.

    Got the key today

    I got the Key today and activated the wmc...Thanks guys..
    Is it a permanent activation..?

    The activation includes MS support 90days

    activation is permanent :) this is only microsoft support for media center

    Oh, thanks for the info. I will try it.
    But, the $14 windows 8 upgrade keys also can be use to fresh install but need to upgrade first, IMHO

    If i don't want to switch to win8 just yet, can I install and permanently activate it now, then make a backup of the license and wipe the hdd. Can I then install w8 sometime AFTER Jan 13th and have it activate properly?

    So today I finally got my key after waiting for about a week. Only problem is it's telling me it's not even a valid product key from microsoft.. Not quite sure what to do now, Any help?

    I encountered that too.
    You should perform the "add feature" OFFLINE, it will accept the microsoft issued WMC key.
    After that, go online and it would be activated permanently.

    Fail on me

    It says Error: 0xC004F050 The software Licensing Service reported that the product key is invalid.

    Yea I did that and it told me I must enter a valid microsoft product key. lol. Must have gotten a bad one.
